Know more about our Pinot

Annandale Vines has a small, rather royal, block of Pinot Noir grapes. They were planted in 1989 for the original owner, by Murray Leake, who is now Viticulturist for SHAW+SMITH. We bought this bespoke piece of the hills in 2016 and we have cared for it come hail or fire - literally!

Our block is set high in Woodside and has the cool master climate that makes our Hills' wine world famous. Within this master climate we have a cooler macro climate within the Pinot Block because of its positioning, within the vines there is an even cooler micro climate, which really makes our grapes sing.

Our Pinot Noir grapes are the hero of 3 wine varietals; Annandale Pinot Noir-Soho Series, AVA Rose‘ and Grace, our sparkling Pinot Noir.

The SOHO Series is a medium bodied, plum and spice, red wine, beautiful for an afternoon at a long table lunch.

The AVA Rose ‘ is a delightfully fruity and crisp rose‘, infused with top notes of strawberries and cream, perfect for a sunny day in the Hills.

Grace sparkling Pinot Noir is our signature sparkling wine made in the "methode traditionale" by Simon Greenleaf , our local winemaker, who has a great passion for tiny bubbles. It is an elegant blush, with the tiniest beads and delicate palate and clean, crisp finish.
