Our story begins in our native South Africa where Grant and I both learned the value of artisanal farm living and hard work. We immigrated to Australia in 2006 when our daughter was four years old, and embraced the hardy Australian way of life in Far North Queensland.

 

After arriving in the Adelaide Hills a decade later, our dream of living on the land again and to produce wine was realised when we bought Annandale. 

 

Since then we have contracted to supply our grapes to Shaw+Smith and Lobethal Road and have created our own single vintage boutique labels Savvy Fox (sauvignon blanc), SOHO Series (Pinot Noir) and Grace (sparkling Pinot Noir). 

 

After the devastating bushfires of 2019 we are grateful for the community support we received and are more committed than ever to sustainable farming, reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to the beloved Hills community we call home.

 

Annandale Vines is currently creating a unique cellar door which promises to provide a beautiful place for locals and visitors to gather, celebrate and enjoy the bounty of the Adelaide Hills. We offer wine sales and tastings, picnic hampers to enjoy on the lawn or in the paddock and creative workshops and masterclasses.
